The club members last night were invited to the most idyllic country cottage to take some garden photos and share tea, biscuits and cake provided by the hostess.
A photo session to take in the local church architecture and grave yard was also added to make a double event. However, by the time I was getting into the car it had already started raining but there was a stretch of blue sky in the distance that hopefully might come our way.
The hostess had lit a real log fire and sitting around it with tea and biscuits was quite cosy waiting for the rain to stop. Eventually there were 10 or 12 of us chatting but it was time to pop outside and just grab a few photos whilst there was still light but rain was still in the air
sort of happy with this one in my camera display
and at the bottom of the quaint garden
and this I think, is a white budlia
the rain didn't really stop
but I couldn't resist taking those lovely tall flowers which I think are hollyhocks
pleased with this but what do I know lol
just didn't quite get this right but now playing with my camera
I had 5 goes at getting this right, this is my best effort
all the time poor robin was looking a little wet lol
a lovely evening chatting around a logfire ended and I didn't have to do the grave yard shift lol
