A location near Tring was chosen for the camera shoot and we had two cars and one model but a member had dressed for the event to make a good photographic couple

and of course the owner's dog

Image

who seemed to be doing a good job of guarding the car which was a Morris

Image

The other car was a more modern Lotus

Image

another member's dog was also accommodating but after getting one picture with his snout missing, I took this picture, which looked fine until I got back home. However I must learn to look at what could be distracting in the background but hopefully I will learn lol

Image

The model was wearing a 1930's flapper dress which sort of went well with the 1930's theme

Image

I thought well if it's the 30's, the photo's would be in black and white and I actual found the mono setting on my camera but had to enhance it afterwards, as it didn't look quite right

Image

but that was a bit of fun and I have never taken black and white photos for a number of years lol

Image

the car was moved to various positions to catch the light of the sinking sun and it was quite informative listening to how the experts would set up a picture. I loved this unusual look from the driver, was there going to be a murder lol

Image

Image

This for me was my favourite picture of the night, I can't tell you why but just appeals to me, I have pressed the 'enhanced pictue' button on many of these pictures to improve them

Image

Image

some of the poses

Image

I liked this casual off the set one as well

Image

And more poses for shooting from all angles

Image

Image

Image

The model did say, it was a little chilly in the small dress and had goose pimples but a member did say they could photoshop them out afterwards lol

Image

and although the sun was out, it was a chilly evening and I had a jumper on

Shame this nice pose is not quite in focus but other members will have good shots

Image

but this is a bit better

Image

Image

"now how do I start this thing" lol

Image

I don't think she would have to wait too long on a motorway for help lol

Image

Image

Image

that's it for me folks lol

Image

and now to go all modern

Image

Image

now where did that evening go, driving out a deer ran across the road in front of me, now where is my camera when I needed it.

I must go back there for another evening, it was most enjoyable
